Happy Halloween! Today is my second official day as a Uber driver and I have to say it has been less than “Uber” exciting. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you are aware that today is in fact Halloween, the scariest holiday, which worked parallel with my scary low profit. Tonight, I turned the Uber app on for about an hour and a half to see if I could get anyone who was going out on Halloween night. Simple, right? Not. I got one request from a passenger who was 18-22 minutes away, so I opted out of that one. Other than that one request, I did not get any others over the hour and a half period. So overall, today was definitely not a success for this Uber driver. But at least it made a good Halloween costume and thank goodness for my “real” job back at Frontline!
